Kia ora,

Digital learning is becoming an important skill for our students.

With more COVID 19 cases in New Zealand, it is increasingly likely students may need to learn from home for brief periods as they isolate due to Ministry of Health guidelines. We are committed to teaching our students whether they are in our classroom or required to isolate at home, and this means our teaching involves more digital technology.

For students to fully engage in digital learning, there are two priorities:

1. If a student is at school, they must bring a digital device such as a chromebook or laptop.
2. If a student is learning at home, they must follow the guidelines click here

Digital Learning Week

To support good habits in digital learning, every class next week will require students to bring a device. That means they must have their device with them, fully charged, on Monday morning, and get into the practice of doing this every day. It would be greatly appreciated if you could support your student to do this.

If your student does not have access to a digital device, there are ways we can support you to obtain one. Please contact the school office to discuss these options.

 Ngā mihi,

Mr Guy Reichenbach
Deputy Principal
